I'm BACK! This time I'm writing from the East...my new home, it's been a whirlwind of a couple weeks but I'm now in Ontario and ready to voice my AI thoughts!!!
Just watched tonights show, I wanted to blog along but I left it for later...I'm hitting up rickey.org for some video recaps so I can do my normal thoughts as I go. Before I get started I have to say WHY IS JACOB STILL HERE? Hasn't Vegas called yet? Cruise Ship?
Alright...Top 5...GO!
James - 30 Seconds from Mars. A bit rough at the start but once he got into he got to the high five happy chorus he captured me...James has over come so much, he's a young guy trying to follow his passions after life drew him what some might think the short stick. I'm all about the passion and love that he's following it, dare I say James for the win?
Jacob - No Air - OH MY GOSH...NO NO NO...WRONG! Did he really fist point pump, just wrong...as they would say it was a hot mess, and hot only because I was holding my AIR so much my face was turning a shade of tomato not known in May! Jacob please do not attempt to sing and crotch grab (or side leg, really your wang wasn't there we could see with those pants) ever again! I won't even comment on the singing.
Lauren - Flat on the Floor - I was hyped when I heard she'd be singing it. Killed it girl! After taking a leap last week with the vocals you could see her confidence soar.
Scotty - Good job, again this kid makes me like country but by the end I was wondering how many times he song the word GONE...I did like though
Haley - You and I - I've seen Gaga do this song before on YouTube and anyone who knows me knows I'm not a Gaga fan. Talented YES but I've just not been a huge fan of hers. Haley though got me counting down until midnight when I could buy this track on iTunes (yes I do that folks, each week! You should too!) I don't care what the judges say, this girl has been the most improved and has really shown who she is over the weeks...that is what American Idol is!
James - Without You - My ONE weakness in life is when a guy cries! I'm not even re-watching this clip right now because I will cry...it was Perfect! PERFECT! I love this song and his version of it was amazing...I can't wait to hear the full of it! The wetness of his eyes turning into tears was so heartfelt. It can't be easy being away from your young child and lady but again James does it for the passion and I credit his family for sticking by him cause I know few do when it comes to passion or money.
Jacob - Love Hurts - I'm still laughing from his last performance. Good tune Jacob, you have the pipes but your grooves cracked me up too much...BUH BYE
Lauren - Unchained Melody - When I hear the "THERE" song line up I was wondering when RyanDan (yes the old B4-4 amazing singers) were going to come out. Lauren...AMAZING as always, again she's beaming confidence and looked beautiful. With Haley coming up hard can Lauren raise the bar enough to make it to the finals? I hope so cause I called her (like Steven) the moment I saw her in Nashville....DAMN I need to go to Nashville!!!
Scotty - Always On My Mind - Wasn't wowed...Sorry Scotty, you are so good but maybe the country is killing me to make you top 3. I do have to point out that they always mention how young Lauren is, Scotty is too...dude is gonna go far!
Haley - House of the Rising Sun - First off, story about this song! Do you know what the House of the Rising Sun is? It's NOT Sun....it's SON...or maybe it's SUN because of the sunshine in the morning. The House of the Rising Sun/Son is the House fathers take their sons to "to become a man!" in other words, in New Orleans where the song came from, it's a Whore House!!! Now for more of a personal lesson (yes I learned the above from my Parental Units!) BUT they sung it to House drawn Carriages while staying at one of the old Whore Houses in New Orleans...when the carriage would go along the street they would see it coming and start singing. Because it's one of the cities I REALLY want to visit one day I hope I can do the same HAHAHA now back to Haley....KILLED IT! I want to say Lauren and James for the final BUT Haley is sneaking her way up on Lauren and it's a race for the next 2 weeks!
I've never been so excited about a full on Top 5 of Idol....if Jacob was already gone I could have said a Top 7! This year has been crazy. I want to know how they did it! Did they know The Voice and X Factor was coming and pull in better people? I don't get it cause these people have always been out there....what ever it is I'm so excited for the tour. I've gone ever year to either Seattle or Vancouver but now I'll be able to go to Toronto!!! Seattle has kinda spoiled us though as year after year we've met a number of the Idols, heck even become friends with some over the years...it's so crazy to see what some of them have done since the show.

Bottom 3 - Jacob, Scotty and Ugggg I'm going to say Lauren because I see the fans online rooting for Haley

American Idol Top 8 Results
I recall back when Chris Daughtry was voted off I vowed never to watch again but tonight as my, and I'll say it again, my FAVE contestant EVER on American Idol was voted off I'll watch again but I will also know that we have a #Winner and no matter what Paul does he's not going to be fading away fast.
The Grand Magnolias were there this weekend, Paul was also in the deadly #1 slot.....was he the worst of the night? NO! Will he come out post Idol just fine? YES!!!!
I loved that he was wearing his band shirt tonight, I knew if he was left with Stefano in the bottom it was going to hurt....people and teen girls are rooting for Stefano. Paul is a seasoned performer and with his band can go far! I don't want to say this was a launch for them because they have been doing so much but this was a huge thrust in the right direction. I've never been more excited to see an artist come out of American Idol......now I think I will be able to focus a bit more on the others, Lauren for the WIN!

American Idol TOP 8 - Sing Off
I'm SO lucky to still be able to watch Idol at 5pm because Canucks Playoff hockey starts tonight!!! Starting next week though I will be heading east, moving to Toronto...thank you Mr.PVR inventor!

PAUL: OMG Love love the suit, his band is in the crowd tonight...please Paul, do the undie slide!!!! Did Jimmy say BeatBox in the middle... BLAKE LEWIS, they are calling for you!!! I have a feeling we are going to have some funky dancing going on!!! Can this guy do anything wrong??? Working the stage, being his own quirky self...love it!!! Great performance! Lots of energy, he's just a performer that has the best suits ever!!! My dad does not like Paul at all...I just confirmed and am going to yell this...PAUL MCDONALD IS, OUT OF 10 SEASONS OF AMERICAN IDOL, MY FAVE!!!!
Lauren: SO glad she picked this song, it's perfect for her!!! Not even to the first verse and I'm already dying to buy it on iTunes!!! DAMN girl...we have an top 2 right here!!! She looks the part tonight, is singing the part...she could take season10 Idol!!! CHILLS!!! I said before she started this she was going to knock it out of the park...I think she just hit it around the world and back again.

Stefano- I feel for this guy, he's really been going through the crap from the fans....he deserves to be here and I believe he has it in him to go pretty far! Great song for him..he said he was going to bring the beast this week! I think he's doing this one for the ladies. He's really worked on what the judges have said and is using it well...look at those eyes staying open, look at his connection...something Pia didn't work on ;) YES there is the BEAST!!!!!! another one I can't wait to hear the full version cause I wanna see more of those notes!!!!
Scotty: OH MY GAWD this is going to be good but can someone once again PLEASE tell him to hold the mic in his hand not the fingertips! oh now he changed it...Scotty, I liked that song damnit. Mic is NOT a flute!!!! HOLD IT! This kid still makes me smile though...I don't even know the song but I'm liking it. I'm hearing more of the backups than him though. Nice vocals when you could hear them but Scotty, you shot yourself in the boot...you should have stuck with the other song, bottom 3?
Casey: Beard trimmed a bit!!! It's not as pubie ;) MUCH BETTER! Pick a damn song man! I was excited for Phil Colins and now he's picked something that I think may just land him in the bottom 3! OH there goes his "I'm gonna take a shit" growl!!! I mean it's cool and everything but take Jimmy's advice, he's there for a reason...he wasn't asking you to stay from who you were but was guiding you. Personally not a fan this week, nice vocal...sick of the facial expressions. I'm not denying his talent, I love the big ass bass but I really wanted his second choice song.
Hailey: WOW boots! First note...OUCH....but I have no fear she'll pick it up. She's grown SO much on this show and I love it as I've been a huge fan of hers. Her OHHHH OHHH OHHHHH's were the perfect about of breathy and right into the shouts for the chorus. I wish someone would work on her movement with her a bit, she just needs to let go..she seems a lil stiff on stage. Alright song choice, I'm worried about her this week because Stefano brought it so hard.
Jacob: Oh buddy, I'm counting on you to suck tonight ;) Sorry folks but he's mine to go this week...vocally he's good, I like his personality but as they are saying CORN!!!! Lets do a bubba gump corn still...corn cakes, pop corn, corn on the cob, corn bread...oh wait he's singing now. Hey Celine Dion do you need an opening act in Vegas???? Another one I can't wait for the full version only cause I like pretending I can belt this song too. UH OH....that note, did did the Jacob sweet spot and it wasn't just at the end of the tune, good listening to the judges. Crap Jacob, really? did you haaaaaaaaaaaaave to do that????? I'm screaming I HATE YOU I HATE YOU!!!!! WHY WHY WHY....now one of my faves have to go home. Best performance....now please bring back Jennifer Hudson to do a duet with him in the final!
James: wow...James is going from rock to Metal....back to his roots, good for him!!!!! People are gonna love it or hate it BUT I'm sitting next to my mom, she's tapping her foot and normally she'd say turn that down. My dad is now standing up watching saying WOW. FINALLY, I'm not hearing a Lambert/Daughtry mix...that was JAMES!!! Dad just said he stole the show, mom's foot is still going....YES JAMES YES!!!!!!!!!!! Jlo I was just going to say that, that was real....that was James!
We had pop, quirk-rock, jazz, metal....WHAT???? Best season EVER!!!! How can I even pick bottom 3???

American Idol TOP 9 - Shocker
I missed blogging last week, don't worry it wasn't because I was in some padded room after Paul landed himself in the bottom three...after this week I will just prepare myself for whatever happens, regardless this season is going to see a lot of careers.
Fast thoughts on performances-
Jacob- Meh, it was nice and he's good when he's tone down but I'm feeling the other contestants much more...sorry someone has to go every week and I'd like to see him go sooner rather than later.
Hailey- Great song choice as the judges have been asking for Joplin, her performance was a lil growly for me...the studio version is much better. She's improving week by week and I'm glad she's sticking around
Casey- Slap happy bassy, I was warned about his facial expressions so feared that watching the performance would ruin the song...wasn't as bad as the warning and I really like what he did with the song. One of my faves on the studio album this week!
Scotty- Stop holding our mic like a flute the damn thing is going to slip out of your finger tips! Good, safe, the girls love him
Pia- Knocked it out of the park vocally, looked stunning and I've come to notice she can only hit those sweet notes if she turns her head up and to the right...seriously go back and watch all her performances! Make a drinking game out of it, I bet you'll be wasted after one song!!!
James- I can't get out of my head how much of an Adam Lambert performance that was, James killed it though...there hasn't been as much talk about him lately but watch out for him
Lauren- Stunning, great vocal...the kid could take it all. I'm not sure if I liked the song choice as it's been done so many times
Stefano- Most improved on the show so far, he has taken the judges points and is clearly working on them. I'm glad he's still around but fear it may only be for a couple more weeks, shame cause he's like my hometown one to cheer for.
Paul- Again proving he's a seasoned performer! Even in the guitar breakdown he's working the crowd and mic. I've always loved the song so to hear him do it was great. Deff put his Paul twist on it and ended the night on a high note.
RESULTS!
Did America get it wrong? YES, vocally Pia is one of the best the Idol stage has ever seen. I'm shocked she went home so soon as there are at least 2-3 that could easily have gone before her and then have the upset happen. Did she fall victim of the young girls and their fast voting fingers....perhaps BUT then why is Lauren still there? Clearly Pia has out performed her each week (as many have said) perhaps Pia wasn't showing enough personality, perhaps people want something a bit different...perhaps the American Voting people are just really stupid, after all we have seen them send home HUGELY successful people like Jennifer Hudson and Chris Daughtry far too early...so you know what that means, this is only the beginning for Pia!

American Idol - Top 11 RESULTS *Spoilers*
OH MY!!! It's been about 40 mins since it ended and I think my heart race has returned to normal, I wonder if Casey's has? Wow, what a results show, best mid-season one ever. AI10 is definitely serving up to be the best season ever, I don't know how they are going to top last years final but I don't doubt they will.
Group song was your typically Idol song, I wonder how many times they have done "Ain't No Mountain...." in the last 10 seasons either as a group, on tour or solo? LOL I need to point out something that really annoys me during the group performances, I've noticed it since week one...Naima! I can understand putting your all into the performance but she always looks like she's trying to out shine the others, I hope it's not intentional...she is the weakest link vocally so she does have to do something to stand out but not during the group, she looks like she is doing the funky chicken out there!
I love James passion for Wrestling, earlier this week I saw them tweet photos of their match in the mansion and the producers really did out due themselves bringing the Hulk in, did you see James face? Priceless!!!
Now onto the bottom 3!!! Am I shocked? Nope
Thia has a strong fan base, they could have likely sat back and let the votes slide...however as I've said from the start her downfall is she's not showing enough personality. People vote for who they can relate to as well as their fave vocal/performance. When you have another young one like Lauren someone like Thia really has to step up that spark.
Stefano, I think we are going to see huge changes with him next week....he's been warned twice and going up against Casey likely scared the crap out of him, I know it did for me!!! I screamed so loud my throat still has a tickle. Way to go Washington, he's kinda like my hometown fave so I can't help but cheer him on. Soooooooooo happy he's going out on tour
Casey- America THANK YOU! I liked the old Casey, when he was slapping the stand up bass and keeping it bluesy...where did that guy go? Did he getting all wrapped up in being "sexy" and feel safe to just do whatever he wanted? He was brought into the show for the old Casey he was, I hope to see that back next week or he can go home fast. I am glad he will be on tour though, I think he brings a silly side to Idol and he is a true musician with great talent and showmanship.
Now what happened with the bottom 3? After watching religiously for 10 seasons and being as wrapped up in it as I am I guess you can say I am a pro ;) I've seen America get lazy and assume their fave was safe but I've also seen amazing bonds between two groups of fan bases to make sure both of their faves get the vote leaving one unexpected Idol dumbfounded and sent home. Back in the beginning of AI when I had more time to surf the net and msg boards I saw it happen....lets just use some current Idols names as an example of how this works.....
Being in the bottom 3 week after week Naima could very well have been there again tonight, Jacob being one of the faves of the night clearly killed Motown week and would have been getting a ton of votes. Take a handful of Jacob fans who would like to see Naima on tour as well and beg them to help out...those fans combine their force giving Naima more votes than she should get raising her above someone like Thia.....get it??? I watched this happen a couple times, it's amazing what fans on a mission can accomplish.

I'm VERY happy with the TOP 11 Idols Tour....my picks have been pretty dead on. Now can we please just watch them perform each week and not send anyone home ;)

American Idol - Top 11 Sing Off
I'm not liking the day changes of Idol, Wed night is far too long to wait for the sing off...I miss Tuesday night Idol!!!
I was out tonight with my mom and it was killing me not watching the eastern feed at 5pm, it's now going on 11pm and I'm just starting...I have to wake up at 3:45am for work BUT after seeing the tweets about this weeks show I just can't fall asleep without watching.
Motown Week....lets go!
Casey - This is HIS element, this is his week! Nice touch with the female string section behind the judges. I think it was a lil too many ohhh and ahhhs, the beginning was better than the end. His pitch and all is great but I'm kind of getting bored of him as I know what he's going to do. I'm waiting to see more from this guy....it was just a'right for me ;)
Thia- I'm glad she's picking a fun song, I think she will be able to keep it young and fresh. Love her look tonight, she's oozing confidence and showing a lot more personality. I know there has been a lot of talk about Pia and Lauren but if social media is telling us anything Thea has the MOST twitter followers out of all the girls, and just behind Scotty who's a fan fave. Not my fave song but she did good, I liked the change up...it's great that she's taking the judges comments and working on them each week.
Jacob- If he doesn't stand out this week he doesn't deserve to be here, Motown is his week. I'm glad they are reeling him back from the high notes cause I've been getting sick of the runs, though good they can be over done. One of my fave songs! Liking his control through out the start it lead me wanting more and he didn't go over board right away YAY OH spoke to soon there he goes!!! Great vocal control, I'd kill to see him Jennifer Hudson on stage together....Idol can we have this in the Final please??? Way to go Jacob, you owned it!
Lauren- LOVE LOVE LOOOOOVE the start!!!! WOW Lauren, niiiiiiiiice!!! This girl was born to be on stage, I can't believe she's 16! She's so seasoned with her crowd interaction and camera play, and to keep the vocals going...way to go girl! Motown, meets country with a lil splash of rock...I hope she does a couple songs lil this on her album.
Stefano- Lets see if he takes the judges and Blake Lewis' advice to connect with the crowd more. He needs to keep his head down lol Such a different version from David Cooks but he's very him....making me want so much more, this guy has the pipes. I liked the change ups to show off his vocals but I really wish he would come out of the song just a lil bit to look us in the eyes more than just at the end of the note.
Haley- Should not have started walking down stairs but she looks amazing. Staring at the camera it looks like she's doing it because she was told to. She's getting to show off her vocal range and what she has different than any one we've seen on Idol but I'm not sure if this was the song choice for her...she did hit it home though and as much as I liked it it's America that hasn't been feeling her. I really hope she doesn't land in the bottom 3 this week, it would boost her back up.
Scotty- Motown could kill him, this is going to be interesting. Ok...this could work for him!!! I'm really glad they aren't pulling him away from his country-ness. These studio guys are AMAZING this year, I love how they are working with everyone far more than we've seen the others do in the past. Just like the last couple weeks eeeeeeeek he makes me love country, I just sit and smile watching him!!! He does hold his mic like a flute though :P I wish the song was sped up a bit so everyone else could get into it more, you can tell he just wanted to let loose....great job Scotty!
Pia- i can't wait to see her just let go on stage...Pia has been amazing thus far and I wait to see what she's going to do each week. She looks simply stunning and her vocals are to match. You know when judges say there are some songs Idols should never pick, I want Pia to pick all those ones because SHE can do anything with those pipes! Chills, simply beautiful...totally agree with Jennifer on the connection.
Paul- How could I wait so long in the week to see Paul...eeeeeeek!!! thanks Paul, I'm going to get 3 hours sleep now tonight because I couldn't sleep until I saw this performance. So glad he's bringing out the guitar!! GOSH I love voice....I just can't get over it. No matter what he sings I need to hear more. I like that even with his guitar he's still showing his performance side. I've watched A LOT of Paul's bands videos so I'm a lil biased with my love for this guy cause I know what he can do....great performance...yet again...can't wait to buy it on iTunes and if it wasn't midnight I'd drive to the states right now to give him my cougar vote.
Naima- Watching the intro I'm not too sure about this. Someone's been practicing! Those low notes are killing it for me in a bad way. I have now figured out why there has been so much rain in LA, the girl has been practicing her dance all week!!! MUCH improved, I kinda liked the end....it was her, she did do something great tonight.
James- I think he's going to be able to slay this song...another one I can't wait to buy on iTunes. The crowd eats him up, he seems to have a lot more confidence on stage tonight too...love it James! Good to see him working the stage and not just the screams. Can't wait to see him to an Aerosmith song ;) Best performance he's done!!!
Bottom 3 - Haley, Naima and I hate to say it but maybe Stefano. Haley could be going home :(

American Idol 2011 - Top 12
It's Wednesday again, the BEST day of the week!!! I swear since AI changed their sing-off night to Wednesday's the start of the week drags on even more. Obsessed much? What can I say...I love this show! So much that I skipped an evening out with mom tonight who got back early...but give me a break the Canucks are playing tonight too!
Alright....so TOP 12...Songs from their Birth Year
Naima - Waiting for the song to get into it but it never really does, not even during the chorus. Reminds me of someone you'd see singing at a fair, you stop for a moment, watch and carry on to the mini donuts. She's really going to need to step up her game as it's a singing comp.
Paul "Soul Swagga" McDonald- Before even hearing him sing WOW Perfect song choice!!! From the first note he's leaving all his soul and swagger on stage with his swell lil steps! I just love watching him move on stage!!! Poor guy is sick but still pulled it off....BWAHAHA Steven said "swagger" too!!! I don't think Paul could do anything bad.
Thia- Alright song choice, it was nice but it's too safe. My biggest fear with her is connecting to the fans. Yes it's a singing contest BUT you can see on the Idols official twitters who's gaining in popularity.
James- I like it....I'm feeling like I'm watching a mash up between Daughtry and Adam Lambert...not such a bad thing. Good job, wasn't over done.
Haley- Uh oh doing a Whitney song? I really like what she can do with her voice but the verses seem a mess, perhaps a bad song choice.
Stefano- Ok Stefano, don't be dissing some of those 1989 Hits, I would have loved to hear you sing NKOTB and with them back in the spotlight I bet America would have loved it too....but regardless the girls are going to love him. I think he's coming out more and more each week, his vocals are always great but now he's finding his comfort zone on stage too. Way to go for making the song more current!!! Although I love Paul (being my personal fave cause of his style and such) Stefano has been the best of the night so far.
Pia- I have a feeling we are going to have another vocal sensation! Normally I'd cringe at another Whitney song because so many Idols kill it and not in a good way but this is Pia! Groovy rendition of the song and she vocally killed it in a good way ;)
Scotty- This kid is a character, he's showing so much more personality now. I can't do anything but smile when he starts singing!!! I didn't think I would say this but I'd buy this guys album! Yes, I bought last weeks song off iTunes already! I believe I said it last week but Scotty is turning me country! Liked seeing him let go a lil at the end.
Karen- Looks like she stole something from the BEP closet. Rough start but pretty good over all. I'm just not feeling this girl. Bottom 3, could be going home.
Casey- Was in the hospital again all week, but he's Casey and he'll bring it! OMG Nirvana!!! Way to go, one of my top 10 fave songs EVER! Casey is so right, this song did define a generation many don't understand...bring it on man!!! I can just hear my dad saying "What is this crap?" but I LOVED IT!!! Way to risk it, this guy is a true artist

American Idol-Top 13 VOTE OFF
Thursday nights are back, one couch, three stools and a whole bunch of stress! I can't even imagine the nerves the Idols are feeling if I sit on the edge of my couch hoping America got it right. One thing I HATE is being so close to the border yet I can't do anything about it...at least with Canadian Idol I could kick myself in the butt if my fave didn't get through. I could go online and campaign LOL but I know regardless my fave idol this year is going to do just fine ;)
Group number - Seemed a lil all over the place at first, liked the songs and you could tell it's been a long week for them. Moving into the mansion, red carpets, studio, photo shoots, filming a commercial and rehearsing last nights songs didn't leave much time to focus on the group number. Wish Paul got more than one line but as I laid on the couch his voice brought me to a sitting position and actually got me to open up this blog to type as we go!!!
I love that they are back living together, I hope they show a bunch of behind the scenes at the mansion...I also think it will be easier on them or perhaps create some drama!
Red Riding Hood, I'd like to see this movie. I met Amanda while she was in Vancouver, I actually almost ran over her dog in a parking garage. We took the elevator together after and shortly after it began to stink, she told me her dogs poops are the stinkiest ever! She shoved the poop bags MINUS POOP in my face to tell me they were even scented but didn't help. The real cool thing about seeing the red carpet is I WAS JUST THERE!!! I saw the theatre I stood outside of just days ago...rad!
Now down to the bottom three!

Adam Lambert....one of my fave songs by him and I really loved his performance. It showed a lot of growth and love that it was for the Trevor Project!!!!
Dirty Diddy Money - I've always loved the chorus to this song, her voice is so innocent and pure. Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Sean Combs or whatever he's going by now...dude has an empire. I'm not into much rap but I do like what he talks about and that I can understand the words as he says them.
Bad choice by Ashton by singing the same song as last night, it's still not that great...I won't deny that she has talent but she came off as someone I wouldn't be a huge fan of after. If you want to compare her to the Tamyra Grey's and Jennifer Hudson's of the past her diva personality may have rubbed people the wrong way and her singing during this week was not up to par.
LOVE LOVE LOVE that David Cook redid "Don't You Forget About Me"....defiantly a tune I will be picking up on iTunes!
Now can someone please bring back Vampire Diaries, this whole repeat biz is not sitting well with me!

American Idol - Top 13
Anyone who knows me KNOWS I love American Idol...I've blogged about it in the past and it's something I'm pretty darn passionate about. I love music so why wouldn't I? I've made it some what a game, seeing if America can handle someone "different"...seeing if someone will get booted because they don't have the fan base to push yet are beyond talented...I do know how to pick 'em!
I'm LOVING this season so far, the judges are much better (phew, we were really wondering) and the Idols, well what can I say...so far so good...I'm proud to say I was able to pick the top 10, glad they put in 13 as one of my pics almost didn't make it in.
As I'm watching this weeks I'm going to make some notes...if you haven't watched yet DO NOT READ ANY MORE!
Lauren- I LOVE this girl, she's my #1 for the ladies. Love the song but just like the judges was waiting for a bit more...she played it a bit safe but still a very good job.
Casey- Is America ready for him? I think so...his infectious smile and pure vocals...I really hope he just stays himself all season cause he's what this music biz needs. I think everyone wants to be his friend too!

Paul- THIS is MY IDOL!!!! I can't believe he's doing Ryan Adams, what a man...he's staying SO true to who he is!! I bought his bands album a couple weeks ago and have been listening non-stop, I love Paul's voice and vibe. **song starts** OMG something just takes over him on stage!!! Love his outfit, his smile, the way his voice just comes out so smooth and his bounce around the stage WOW Such a seasoned performer. I'm sure many people didn't know the song which is a huge risk but it's so early in the show we all know he's here to stay!
Pia- This girl is the whole package! Her beauty and voice is almost frightening, as long as she shows a lot of personality (Like Lauren) people will keep her in. Amazing performance, those notes are almost unexpected from her WOW
PS - Randy we know it's Season 10 we know you've been around every year...STOP reminding us, you aren't better than the other judges...you are starting to be a douche not a dawg!
James- So true, glad James is getting a chance to showcase his voice more...America needs someone like him. I don't know how those vocals come out of him so effortlessly. Great performance, showed a bit calmer side which I loved...I'd like to see James do move of this and not hiding behind his screams, he does have an amazing range.
Haley- I'm so happy she's in the top 13, there is just something about her I love and she proved it with her vocal performance tonight! I can almost picture her as that 8 year old singing it on stage, she was very comfortable with her song tonight and executed it with perfection!
Jacob- Everyone wants him as their best friend! I think he's got some mega pipes and control but it's not an album I'd buy...I would go see him on a cruise ship every night of the week though. Or give him a night in Vegas, he's got the personality.
Thea- She's beyond her years! I almost don't like her on the show cause she's too good and takes away from my lil Lauren LOL During the Final I'd love to see her come out with Charice!!! Flawless performance, but I also think we will see a lot of that from her all season.
Stefano- I've liked him since his audition! Go West Coast!!! I think he's going to be one of the under dogs that shines through. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of artist he will be cause he can just sing anything. It reminded me of Justin from season one's performance and I loved it!
Karen- I'm getting sick of her JLo suck up, we get she's Latin...this is a singing show and the start of the song is sucking really bad. Actually she's not even done singing yet and I can easily say this is the worst of the night.
Scotty- Mr One Trick Pony BUT that's a good thing...I love that he's showing a lot more personality now. Regardless of how far her goes he's got a contract, most country guys are just that guys...they need a young man for all those lil girls out there. He just makes me smile and Scotty makes me like country which believe me isn't easy to do. I actually got chills from his performance, I feel so proud of this guy...he has something special.
Naima - I just yelled out a huge YAHYAH when she started!!! With the guidance she's going to go far, she's so FUN! She knows who she wants to be and now these producers are going to bring it out of her. Finally someone who took it to their own level tonight, she proved why she was a wildcard!!!
Over all good night, Naima had the standout performance... a lot of safeness this evening thought...great vocals but can't wait to see more.
Tomorrow we should be saying goodbye to Karen or Ashton...BUT this is America and if they don't get the boot then I'll state my reasons why tomorrow.

I bought his bands album a couple weeks ago and have been listening non-stop, I love Paul's voice and vibe. **song starts** OMG something just takes over him on stage!!! Love his outfit, his smile, the way his voice just comes out so smooth and his bounce around the stage WOW Such a seasoned performer. I'm sure many people didn't know the song which is a huge risk but it's so early in the show we all know he's here to stay!
Pia- This girl is the whole package! Her beauty and voice is almost frightening, as long as she shows a lot of personality (Like Lauren) people will keep her in. Amazing performance, those notes are almost unexpected from her WOW
PS - Randy we know it's Season 10 we know you've been around every year...STOP reminding us, you aren't better than the other judges...you are starting to be a douche not a dawg!
James- So true, glad James is getting a chance to showcase his voice more...America needs someone like him. I don't know how those vocals come out of him so effortlessly. Great performance, showed a bit calmer side which I loved...I'd like to see James do move of this and not hiding behind his screams, he does have an amazing range.
Haley- I'm so happy she's in the top 13, there is just something about her I love and she proved it with her vocal performance tonight! I can almost picture her as that 8 year old singing it on stage, she was very comfortable with her song tonight and executed it with perfection!
Jacob- Everyone wants him as their best friend! I think he's got some mega pipes and control but it's not an album I'd buy...I would go see him on a cruise ship every night of the week though. Or give him a night in Vegas, he's got the personality.
Thea- She's beyond her years! I almost don't like her on the show cause she's too good and takes away from my lil Lauren LOL During the Final I'd love to see her come out with Charice!!! Flawless performance, but I also think we will see a lot of that from her all season.
Stefano- I've liked him since his audition! Go West Coast!!! I think he's going to be one of the under dogs that shines through. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of artist he will be cause he can just sing anything. It reminded me of Justin from season one's performance and I loved it!
Karen- I'm getting sick of her JLo suck up, we get she's Latin...this is a singing show and the start of the song is sucking really bad. Actually she's not even done singing yet and I can easily say this is the worst of the night.
Scotty- Mr One Trick Pony BUT that's a good thing...I love that he's showing a lot more personality now. Regardless of how far her goes he's got a contract, most country guys are just that guys...they need a young man for all those lil girls out there. He just makes me smile and Scotty makes me like country which believe me isn't easy to do. I actually got chills from his performance, I feel so proud of this guy...he has something special.
Naima - I just yelled out a huge YAHYAH when she started!!! With the guidance she's going to go far, she's so FUN! She knows who she wants to be and now these producers are going to bring it out of her. Finally someone who took it to their own level tonight, she proved why she was a wildcard!!!
Over all good night, Naima had the standout performance... a lot of safeness this evening thought...great vocals but can't wait to see more.
Tomorrow we should be saying goodbye to Karen or Ashton...BUT this is America and if they don't get the boot then I'll state my reasons why tomorrow.
